Hope is the soft flame burning in the candles of our hearts that tells us to go on—no matter the problem. Like any flame, this one needs to be nurtured and we know when it’s dimming because we start worrying over things we can’t control. Then we become emotional victims of the plague and, in our darkness, become powerless to help others.
Our hope is reawakened by remembering that the dreariest nights and the fiercest storms have always, always been vanquished by the goodness of dawn’s sweet light.
So that I will stay strong for myself and for others, my affirmation is: All is good, all is God, all is love.
