I was once complaining that I had done too little to help the world, when a friend asked me what it would take for me to acknowledge my contributions. I shrugged off his question, but he persisted; “What if I invited all the people whose lives have been made better by your influence and they entirely filled a baseball stadium, would that convince you?” he asked.

I woke up then and realized how debilitating that attitude was.

Do you have such self-doubts?

Okay then, let’s let this dreadful virus teach us something; if you will touch, with your kindness, only ten people this week, and your touch is carried by each of those ten, to ten other people, then in just five cycles going forward -probably a couple of months- your kindness will have helped uplift one hundred thousand lives! Is that enough reason to honor your contribution?
