There is a famous baseball player who, even at the top of his game, never mentioned his skills and his teammates knew him as a humble man. Once, when called to testify in court, he was asked to name history’s greatest baseball player—without hesitation he answered,

“I am.” Later, when his teammates asked how he could say that, he simply replied: “I was under oath.”
He was the absolute best baseball player he could be—and you are the absolute best you that you can be. Neither is greater than the other. Like him, you may not speak of your wonders but when, under oath, you are asked if you are being the best you - how will you respond? Others may not see it because it’s not their business; yet unless you are honoring you, where will you find the confidence to keep on winning?
