The 7500 generations that birthed us were filled with amazing people. Imagine even 320 generations back when the average lifespan was only 25 years. Those are our grandparents, growing through their daily challenges with determination and, by so doing, improving the genes they passed to the next generation. And, in turn, each generation did the same, with only the wisest and bravest surviving to pass their genetics and traits down —finally to us.
Now we are faced with an insidious pandemic, but hey—we come from a long line of heroes who held our family together through much darker times. --And they passed us their sense of humor:
A wife asks her husband, “Could you please go shopping for me and buy one carton of milk and if they have avocados, get 6.
A short time later the husband comes back with 6 cartons of milk. The wife asks him, “Why did you buy 6 cartons of milk?”
He replies, “They had avocados.”
