Community Service
Caring and respecting our local community and the world at large is key to peaceful, loving existence. USC believes we are at our finest when we rise by lifting others. That is why we make community outreach the back bone of our center. We encourage the members of our Spiritual Community to be involved and in service to our local community in meaningful ways. As a Unity of Bellingham community, we also love to serve as a Spiritual Center family.

Grace Bag Distribution

Grace Bags are distributed by USC to those experiencing homelessness and materials for the bags are collected all year long. These bags contain essential hygiene items, healthy snacks and agency support contact information. We are in need of the following (especially toothbrushes and small toothpastes): Gallon size zip lock bags, toothbrushes, toothpaste, floss, small hotel size bottles of lotion, shampoo, soap, combs, hand sanitizer, small bottles of water, granola bars or non-perishable healthy snacks (individual packets of nut butters, meat sticks, fruit leather, boxes of raisins, breakfast cookies, breakfast bars, etc.). Think small since these items will be hand carried inside pockets or backpacks. Thank you for your generosity!
